DVD player reboots system when DVD is inserted

Problem: Evertime I insert a DVD in my DVD player, my
system reboots. This has started ever since I installed
Creative Labs Audigy 2.
Does anyone think this is the direct cause?
I have performed a system diagnoses and no problems were
found. I checked for any hardware conflicts and found none.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
