Where are Outlook data files?

Hi. I use Outlook (not outlook express) as my email
program. I can't find the data files that must be stored
somewhere on my computer for the emails I have been
saving. I want to back them up to CD since they are my
client correspondence files and I don't know where
they're hiding on my computer. I feel purdy derned DUMB
and would appreciate any help I can get to find the
little buggers. Thanks so much, Abby

Hi,

The default location for your *.pst file of Microsoft Outlook is:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

Where C:\ is your drive letter.

You need to enable Hidden and System Files and Folders in your search.
Go to Advanced Search options. Then search for *.pst

Won't work unless Hidden and System Files and Folders are enabled in the
search and/or the OP has administrator rights.
