WHERE THE HECK IS THE MIC ON MY LAPTOP? i have a toshiba
satellite 1400 and i have no idea where the mic is.

I went to
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_manuals.jsp?z=41&service=EU
and downloaded the manual. Your system has no microphone but rather a 1/8"
microphone jack along the front edge of the system. It's the one directly
to the left of the display latch. You'll have to plug in a mic of your own.
