AVI, Nero & VCD?

Have a 625MB AVI, tried to burn as VCD with Nero but get "not enough room"
message with a 700MB CDR. How much overhead does Nero need and why did it
go through the rather lengthy conversion process before telling me?

Nero also allows you to create a menu system for your vcd which also takes
up space on the cd. If thats not the problem then it could be hard drive
problems. Check your Ram and paging file sizes.
If you have more than 256mb ram then it is probably good to set nero's
buffer to about 50-80MB and not have any other programs running at the same
time as burning.
