file recoery

Is there any way to recover a movie maker file that was not saved before
closing? I screwed up big time, and want to try and bale my butt out.

No you cannot recover a file that was not created.
You should remember to save regularly when working with computers. That way
you can just quit the program and re open the file to recall your file to
the last point you saved.
