Updating Error Q817287

I continuously get prompted to perform update Q817287 and
it seems like the update is done properly. However, the
day after the update was done it prompts me again. In
addition, I have since gone to the update center for XP
and I can now see the update histories were completely
unsuccesful each time.


Please recommend a fix.
