application sharing

I 1st start the application that I want to share and then
I connect to my contact using msn messenger or windows
messenger. I then click on actions and then start
application sharing. All I ever get after my contact
accepts is a small windows that says "Waiting" And that's
as far as I get. It says waiting until I close that small
window. What's up???
