Despite putting in new batteries in, a couple of days
after changing I still get an error message about the
batteries needing changing. The mouse manages to go to
sleep okay, so I don't think it's on all the time. I
moved my wireless router further away too, just in case.
The LastKnownBatteryLife in the registry says 3, the same
as the wireless keyboard, but no messages appear saying
the keyboard batteries need changing.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the
software but this doesn't help.

Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks in advance

Nick

This is not an answer to your problem.

I am just curious why people even use wireless mice and keyboards?
Is a cord running across your desk that much of an annoyance to you
that you decide that you are going to go out and buy somthing that
needs a constant supply of batteries, has a noticeable lag time in its
response, has more problems than a simple corded device etc, just to
get rid of that cord?

I just dont get it why people buy these things.
