Anyone any knowledge of how to make my Epson GT-7000 SCSI
scanner work in XP? The old 98 drivers don't work, and
Epson recommend loading drivers for Windows 2000. XP
doesn't recognise the scanner as being there leaving the
port unfilled. The SCSI card seems to be ok as is the
scanner itself, but the problem seems to be making the
TWAIN work. I'm just going round in circles having
unpacked the download from Epson I'm not sure where it
should be put to be detected. Or is it just time for an
excellent scanner to be scrapped?

There is usually a setup.exe file in the unpacked files that you downloaded.
If that is the case then you have to install that setup.exe by
double-clicking it or browsing to it from the Run line.
