Show Desktop Not working

[Shyam]

I ran into a problem. I tried to use Ashampoo
winoptimizer to cleanup the registry of invalid entries.
After that, I ran into some problems with OFFICE XP which
i was able to clear using the OFFICE installation CD. But
now my "show desktop" qucik launch isn't working.
I tried to follow the directions given in MS KB article
190355 to restore the file. It is not working. Whenever i
click on "show desktop" icon, it asks me what program to
use?
Can someone help me? Thanx in advance, Shyam.

taskbar:

Create a shortcut on your desktop with the following path then drag
it to
your taskbar if you want it there.
