anyone know how, with windows XP to create a profile with certain settings
and then when a new user ID is created they all take those settings, ie.
internet temp folders to 50megs, visuals all turned down.
multiple outlook profiles are created

and when a new user ID is created, all those settings are imported into the
new profile into that computer

thanx.

I wont be reading the groups themselves much

Also see "The Desktop.ini File Does Not Work Correctly When You Create a
Custom
Default Profile" http://support.microsoft.com/?id=321281 which explains
how copying over the Default profile with another account profile screws
up the initialization of certain features. This article recommends using
sysprep to customize the Default User profile, which contradicts the
other article.
