I have a USR modem model OEM 2976, the problem I am
having with it is that is not allowing Windows XP to go
into the stanby mode. Also, Winfax takes a long time to
set up the modem to receive faxes and lately since I re-
intalled the modem it just lights the menu but it does
not open it. I've noticed also that it answers the fax
calls and gets the fax without even setting the Winfax
software to do so.
If anyone can help me I will greatly appreciated.
