Sidewinder game pad

I have an original sidewinder game pad and have recently
installed WindowsXP professional.

Although this operating system picks up the device
successfully, I am not able to install the software which
allows me to porgram the pad for vaious games etc. Is
there a software upgrade available which will allow me to
do this, and if so where can I get it?

Try this...
Goto the Game Controller Control Panel
Then Add, Microsoft Sidewinder (auto-detect)...


Please note that any Profiling software that came with the gameport hardware
won't work as that was not designed for Windows XP. There are currently no
plans for updates.
