I had just uninstall Win XP from a dual boot PC, and the XP Windows file
stayed in the Recycle bin and I cannot empty the bin, when I tried, it said
unable to find the file.
How can I delete the file (is it protected by Norton Unerase ?).

Many thanks.

Right click the recycle bin and select properties then on the tab labeled
recycle bin select standard recycle bin.

On the Norton tab disable it.
Doubt it's Norton though it could be contributing to the problem..
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Go here click on R and scroll down to "Recycle Bin - Deleting Problems"
Info provided should fix it.
The recycle bin in every MS-OS has always had problems with corrupted files
causing deletion problems.
