XP hangs during boot screen on Dual Xeon P3 Mobo, any advice?

I have a dual Xeon P3 Supermicro Motherboard S2DL3 and
I've tried to upgrade to Windows XP. However during the
final stages of install it hangs when trying to boot up.
(Blue bar on XP splash page cycles once or twice then
locks.) I suspect it's hanging on a driver but I do not
know how to identify it or solve the issue.

Any ideas?
