critical error message

I have been trying to delete a works project, but can't
seem to .....have been receiving a warning about critical
error in something with microsoft works.......it
suggested sending this message to them, but that hasn't
worked either.....could this be some type of virus? It
hasnt been coming up while online.....Norton message
keeps coming up stating I need to renew my virus package,
is that related?

Try deleting the file in safe mode. I would suggest that you keep your
antivirus protection up todate. I'm not saying that it is a virus. The
project you are trying to delete might be used by a program you are running
in the background. By deleting in the safe mode the background program will
not be running and therefore prevent deletion.
