Is there any way to change my video card settings so that
it runs in AGP mode rather than in PCI mode? This is
causing problems in some games that I play. My system
specs are below.

Athlon XP 2400
512MB DDR RAM
GeForce4 Ti 4600
Windows XP Pro SP1

The card will show as A PCI card for polling purposes. If it was not
functioning as an AGP device, you would get no display. The card showing as
a PCI device is normal. Your problem lies elsewhere. The Control Panel for
your Video Card will usually allow you to adjust AGP settings. Try setting
them lower, and check the size of the AGP Aperature in your BIOS. Making it
too large can cause performance issues.

Most video card problem in games are usually caused by not having the AGP
port drivers for your motherboard. You can usually find the driver as part
of the motherboard chipset drivers.
