I have a Microsoft Cordless Optical Mouse, and I can't
get it to behave! The cursor keeps dropping down to the
bottom of the screen by itself, really annoying during
gameplay etc.
Is this a problem with all cordless mice, or am I doing
something wrong?

Make sure your reciever is located in a location where it can see the IR
signal from your mouse at all times, and your mouse must stay within the
range specified in the documentation that came with the mouse.

I have the MS IntelliMouse Explorer. It worked under Windows XP but since I
downloaded Service Pack it gives me problems. It comes initially on when I
start the computer, but then after a few minutes of use, the green light on
the receiver goes out and the wireless mouse does not function anymore.
I downloaded and installed the latest driver from MS for this mouse, but the
problems do not go away now for days.

Anyone having this problem too?
