This worked for me..!
When your system is booting up..!
Go to setup by either hitting F10..or the delete key.
After you are in set up, go into CMOS this is where your
drives selected or disabled.
Mine was doing the same thing on my floppy drive.
When I went into CMOS it was not selected.
I selected the floppy 1.44 3.5 inch then saved it at exit
the system recongnized the change, and TADA it works now
