I'm running dual processors on an Alton V694 dual
processor motherboard. I'm running a PIII 733 and a PIII
866 processor. There running well and stable, but the
BIOS reports (2) 866 MHZ at post, and Windows XP reports
only Pentium Processor 869 MHZ.
How do I get windows to see the dual processor? Or is
the issue with the BIOS and need flashing. Also, is
there a special patch for Windows XP Home to take full
advantage of dual processors?

You can't use duals on Home. You need at least XP Pro.

Yes there's a patch - you can find it at most good software retailers. It
comes in a snazzy blue box marked 'Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Upgrade'.

XP Home does not support dual processor systems - it is one of the
features explicitly confined to XP Pro
