Upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. Now having
headaches with keyboard.
Everything was working fine. After shutdown and power up
key configuration is wacky.
Y to P, H to L, and B to M are coming up as #'s instead of
correct letters.
Please reply with any help possible.
Most Appreciative,
Charmer

Check the laptop manufacturer's website for XP keyboard
drivers.

Make sure that you do not have Number Lock key turned on. Many
newer laptop keyboards have a number pad embedded over the letter
and symbols keys on the right side of the keyboard. The assignments
are as follows:
Real Key Number Key
7 7
8 8
9 9
0 *
U 4
I 5
O 6
P -
J 1
K 2
L 3
; +
M 0
