DVD problem

Hi I have a problem playing some of my DVD-s. Player simply would not recognize the disk, or display's an error message. Soem other DVD are playing well thought. DVD which I am unable to us eat my PC (Toshiba satellite) play well at the other players, so t
hey aren't corrupt. What might be a problem?

Have you tried reinstalling WinDVD or PowerDVD, whichever you use?

Have you tried to 'modify' the player to be region free and are trying to
play RCE disks?

Hello both of you, did you ever get a solution to the
problem? i am not able to play DVDs on my TOSHIBA laptop
as well. It cant be a driver problem can it?
