i was browsing a data disc (that is, i've burned files to
it, but didn't close the cd so that i could delete/add
files later) when it came up with an error saying
something along the lines of the disc being corrupt. u
usually i just hit ok, eject, then put the disc back in
and everything is okay. this time, however, the cd-rom
just ejected the disc again. it now does this whenever i
put in a cd, doesn't matter if it's a burned disc
(closed), burned disc (open), or a music cd.
things i've tried:
1. rollback driver, but there was nothing to rollback to.
2. uninstall driver, reboot.
3. check this site for driver updates, but there was
nothing relating to the cd-rom.
any ideas of what else i can do?
