Hi,
After install windows XP, we have an account named Administrator.
Then i created another account, Account administrator icon is now hidden (in
start-up login screen) !
I'm sure that Administrator is hide not deleted because if i switch to
classical login screen (type user name and password manually like Win2000),
i can log into admin account. I want to loggin administrator account with
new XP loginscreen( just click an icon). How to do it ?
How to unhide Administrator again ?
Thanks

The disappearance of this account is normal behavior when another user
account is created. Because of this it is a good account to keep in reserve
for troubleshooting purposes. Suggestion: Create a second account in the
administrator group for general (and possibly everyday) use.

You can force the default Administrator account to appear on the welcome
screen using TweakUI. TweakUI is one of the Power toys for XP.

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP:.

TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1:

You can use TweakUI to expose the Administrator account.
You can get TweakUI here
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

The appropriate setting is under Logon (you have to have the Welcome Screen
enabled, which you should based on your description).

That being said, you really ought to rethink using your Administrator
account for everyday usage.

This is normal behaviour once you have created an account with administrative priveleges. This account is not one you would use on a day to day basis. Instead it is meant to be a sort of fail safe account that you can access when things go really really wr
ong. This account can always be accessed via the "safe mode". Safe mode is used to help in correcting conflicts and software issues when they cause your regular XP to either not boot or not work. For now I would simply ignore it. When you create an admin a
ccount use that on a day to day basis. Have fun. {:~)
