On the ME computer consider windows 2000 or consider
carefully the spec of the PC - will it run XP Pro?
Run that past your corporate dept.
XP home is not really suitable for a corporate environment.
However as a temp fix check that you are not loading
old drivers like sound card drivers and that
any anti virus software you are running is suitable for XP
I think more information would be needed to make a valid
assessment.
Also are you running any old legacy software that might be
causing crashes? Have you upgraded to office XP?
Thanks
