View Full Version : taskbar size

I inadvertently (sloppy mouse work) made my taskbar double thickness and
cannot get it back to single (just room for one row of quicklaunch icons).
I can make it even thicker and can make it much smaller so that it cannot be
seen, but can't get it back to its original size.

Any help is appreciated.

First, unlock your taskbar by right-clicking on the clock and unchecking
"Lock the Taskbar"

After doing that, you should be able to put your mouse cursor directly on
top of the taskbar's "border"; once you do that, you can drag it around to
resize the taskbar.

Thanks, but I'd already tried that (see original post). I can drag the
border all the way to the bottom of the screen and I can also drag it much
higher than it is now, but not back to the original level.
