code 28

I keep getting a code 28 every time I connect my 6in1
Dazzle USB reader. I have reinstalled the driver,
contacted the company(no help) and done everything I can
think of. Anyone have any similar problems and fix?

Maybe you'd like to expound on "everything I can think of" so this thread
doesn't denigrate into someone making a suggestion and you replying "tried
that".
