Welcome Screen - Incorrect Mail Notification

When I boot up my machine and it gets to the point that
it shows the different user accounts, it shows that my
account has 1 unread mail message...... but I don't have
any messages at all. How do I reset this to show zero?
I have sent my self a message, and then it shows 2 unread
when I only have one..... Somehow it think there is a
message there that isn't.

Please tell me how to fix it, it drives me crazy!!

You can do that in TWEAKUI.EXE > Repair. You can also turn off the
fetaure in TWEAKUI.EXE > Logon > Unread Mail. TweakUI is available
from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp.
