I have 2 Hard Disks. O/s win xp HE. Installed XP on 1st
Drive FAT32. Saved Data on 2nd HD FAT32. XP got corrupt
so I reinstalled it after repartitioning 1st HD in 2 and
formatting it to NTFS. XP loaded without a problem. THe
second Hard disk is not appearing in MY Computer.
Looking via disk management it shows Active but no drive
letter. When I Right click the 'change drive letter' is
greyed out. The only thing it has open is 'Delete
partition'.
Does anyone have any idea how to reactivate the drive
withot losing the data? Thanks.

Right-click on MY COMPUTER and select MANAGE.
Click on DISK MANAGEMENT and in the lower right-hand
window, right-click on your drive and select INITIALIZE DISK.

The only options I get are 'Delete Partition' and 'Help'
when I right click on the Hard Disk. I do not want to
lose the data on it. Any other Ideas?
Thank You. Noor
