New Hardware notice

On every startup my system brings up the new hardware
wizard trying to load some UDF driver. I run it through
to its inevitable conclusion of "error instaling new
hardware" and check the box that says "do not ask to
install this hardware again" Yet it continues to come up
on every startup. Does anyone know how to stop this??
