memory not reported correctly

I have 512mb sdram installed but windows only reports
half that figure installed...the bios post reports 512mb
and so does aida and sandra but windows doesn't...any
suggestions anyone..e mail me directly please..thanks

Check the amount reported by Windows in Control Panel - System -
General (right-click on My Computer and select Properties).

The amount reported there should be correct (512 mb). If so then what
you are seeing in the System Information utility is a known issue that
has not yet been fixed. It is purely cosmetic.
