Can anyone help or relate to this:
I have an old (well, 1999) Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel
that is NOT USB, it came as standard with a serial plug
(even though looking at the Sidewinder site it doesn't
seem to mention the non-usb wheel). I have updated my OS
to XP Professional and since doing so my Brake Pedal has
not been functioning correctly. It is either perminantly
on or doesn't work at all. I have calibrated the wheel
through Game Options in Control Panel and through the game
itself (Monster Truck Madness II) with no result. I also
cannot install the Sidewinder software as it only seems to
be available for Win 95/98.
Has Microsoft produced an OS that won't run Microsoft
Hardware or am I missing something?
