when you access a web page that requires you to type in
information, how can I change the font of the text I am
typing into the form? I know how to change the webpage
font, but not the font of the text I want to enter.

I think that this is defined in the web page's code so that you cannot
do this as a user of the site. But you may want to ask again at
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser
or news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.frontpage.programming
(if you want to write your own pages).
