how can I change the font of the text I enter into a
webform, such as, uummmm, shopping for a book. When I
enter my address, the capitol I looks like a small l..(I
think my font is now in arial?)

Try increasing the font size by selecting menu View | Text Size.

If this doesn't work, you can override the website font style by selecting
appropriate options from menu Tools | Internet Options - General tab and
click Accessibility button.
