I have been using a Buslink external cdrw with Nero
software and it worked fine.I tried to write an audio cd
using Windows Media Player 9 and it would not work. Now
the writing light on the cdrw flashes constantly whenever
a blank or prerecorded cd is inserted. It seems that the
cdrw is trying to continue writing the job that was
aborted. While trying to write another cd I get a "cdrw
is busy" message. I have tried uninstalling and
reinstalling the cdrw and driver and also the software.
Also after rebootig and opening the Windows Media Player
I get a message on my taskbar saying there are files
waiting to be written to the cdrw. It shows the media
player temporary file I originally was trying to write.I
have deleted the temporary files but every time I reboot
the files show up again. I am using windows XP home on an
E-machine computer. Any suggestions? Thanks
