NTFS Permissions Not Available on XP PRO

hi

i have windows xp installed on my P4 it has 3 drives and 2 of them are
upgraded to NTFS filesystem after the windows xp was upgraded from windows
98. i mean first in upgraded windows 98 to windows xp then i upgraded my c
drive ( xp installed in C ) to ntfs but wonder whera are the ntfs file
permissions then i upgraded another drive but still i could not find the
ntfs file and folder permisoons whats the hell i have seen my friend
running windows xp and he has also done the same thing but he has ntfs
securty features badly need these features please help me with this windows
xp hell

its not a bug, its a feature. go to the explorer tools/options/view and in
the advanced settings scroll all the way to the bottom and uncheck the 'user
simple file sharing' box.
