Hi

I have upgradead lately to XP
I have one ASUS internal cdrom and an external HP CD-writer 8200
I had some problems with installig of the HP writer, so i tried installing
the software from their disk.
This has created problems with some drivers.
In the meantime, I downloaded the updated drivers and sofware from HP site,
and I am able to read and write cds.

However,

Each time I start the computer, I get the message ' DEVICES OR APPLICATIONS
DISABLED'
when i click for more details - I am given the suggestion to get an update
from the ROXIO site.
but I am not using any roxio software.

I checked the device manager, it seems that the problem is with a file
called CDRALW2K.SYS

I tried to remove the cd form the device manager, and install again, but I
get the same result.

Any suggestions how I can get rid of this problem ?

Thanks

Dan
