Canon Canoscan Tool box - does it work ?

Connected up new 3000F scanner

But Canoscan Toolbox 4.1.2.2 keeps shuting down no matter what I try.
Any ideas ?

On my computer, I had to install the USB 2.0 drivers first, then the
CanonScan Toolbox. Doing it this way, everything works fine.

Crusty now tried:
Tried USB 2.0, even update with MS drivers off net,

But it appears to be some Twain issue.

Software & drivers - don't you just love it.

FOUND the problem.

The Kodak twain drivers for DC3400 Digital camera.
Twunk is gone!

Uninstalled Kodak DC3400 and reinstalled ONLY the Camera Mount
software - not their faulty twain drivers (Why would you need to
caputure real time from the camera beets me any way.)

Now Canon Scanner 3000F works with Toolbox and Kodak DC3400 camera.

Funny that Kodak never released a revised driver - considering the
other stories I have since found on google.


Bad kodak - try take of twain no... you shall not !
