Hi, last time i tried to use XP i had issues with Half
Life especially, and other OpenGL games, they seem to only
use 60Hz refresh rate. i could not change this in the
control panel, only the direct3D refresh rates, however
direct3D gave me 3 frames per second.
System is Pentium 4, Geforce 4 ti 4600, monitor supports
up to 150 Hz, and am currently using 100Hz at 1600x1200

please Email me with help

It is a WinXP thing. You need a program to lock your refresh rates. I
use RefreshFix from ATI on my ATI cards to correct this problem. There
are some like programs for the Geforce cards but I don't know the names
or have links. Or you can use a program such as PowerStrip from here

Note that not many, if any, people will reply to you directly by email.
Saying to email you with help often turns away many potential helpers since
we assume that you will never check the thread again.

That being said, the current Nvidia video drivers allow you to choose
specific refresh rates for any given resolution.
