Sounds like an AOL program problem, check with them for a
fix, as this is not a windowsxp program.

Web pages can be written so that the back and fwd buttons
don't work, that lets the web designer trap you on "his"
pages.

But, have you downloaded and installed the latest MS
Intellimouse drivers?
