Hi all. I use my PC with Windows XP Home Edition
primarily for gaming, and recently I had some problems
with my graphics card. I used Safe Mode to reinstall the
drivers, and everything works now. Except that in order
to reinstall the drivers for that device, I had to
uninstall the device first, then reinstall it, then the
drivers. Windows tells me that I have made a serious
modification to my computers hardware, and that I will
need to reactivate Windows. Fair enough, I try to
reactivate Windows, but it wont let me use my existing
product key (that I used to activate Windows XP when I
first purchased my machine), as I have exceeded 'The
number of times this product can activated with this
Product Key. Please visit this website to aquire
another'. I visit the website, and it tells me I can't!
How can I reactivate Windows with my product key - I've
only got three days of Windows left before it shuts down!

Call Microsoft and tell them what you have done.

Greetings --

Simply start the activation process, and then follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to activate via telephone. It's a 5-minute,
toll free call.
