Hi All,
How do I disable/able the Direct Memory Access
on my DVD/CD RW drive?
I am using Dazzle Complete DVD software to make
video DVD's and when I burn the DVD's from that
software it does not create the whole DVD, even
though the message says "DVD created sucessfully".
In the FAQ for this software, someone had the same
problem and they suggested to disable the DMA for the
DVD drive. I went into hardware manager, and
none of the options for the DVD drive are for the DMA.
Please help,
Thank you so much,
Dorothy.

Go to DEVICE MANAGER.....then select IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers....then
select Primary or secondary depending what you have you DVDdrive connected
to....you will find the DMA options under ADVANCED SETTINGS.
Hope this helps.
