Microsoft usually issues 2 patches for download. One
says for XP 32 bit edition, the other for XP 64 bit
edition.
How can I tell which edition I have on my computer?

You have the 32-bit edition. Anyone who has the 64-bit version
knows it by the two large dents in his wallet--one for 64-bit
Windows, the other, even larger dent, for the special hardware
needed to run it.

Actually, Ken, it's one dent of Grand Canyonesque proportions. 64-bit
Windows is only sold with systems.

Forgotten about that, Rick. Whatever, it's out of the reach of us mere
