I installed an external USB 60GB drive. XP see the drive and displays it
correctly in the Safe to Remove Hardware window.
Disk Manager sees the drive and I can partition it, however all attempts to
format fail with the error 'that formatting did not complete successfully'.
Quick format also fails, but at least it fails quickly.
Formatting from My Computer fails but only after the status bar reaches the
100% point and Quick Format fails quickly here, too.
Anyone have a work around for this issue. Yes, I am on SP1 with all patches
(as of today) loaded.
