i have a 80gig hd which had 10gigs set aside for the c
drive but now its run out of space, instead of
refomatting my computer and losing everything on my c
drive i want to use my i drive and my c drive as my c
drive. i heard it can be done using windows xp

Wayne;
You heard incorrectly.
You can not do that with Windows XP native tools without destroying
data.
To preserve data, you need a 3rd party application:

the i drive has no information or data on it at the moment
