Well, I checked the cables and they weren't hooked up
like before. It was a slave on the sec before, so I
changed it to that, and tried a couple other settings,
but no luck. I hadn't thought of that before though.
Also, I didn't format it using a drive overlay.
I'm still up the creek so to speak, and still trying to
figure this out. So if anyone has any more ideas on how
to fix this feel free to throw them my way. Thanks a ton
to you guys that already have though. I appreciate it.

I lost everything on a 40 gig drive just before Christmas. I had a spare 40
gig drive. I used EasyRecovery Professional and was able to get back about
95-98% of my files (had to transfer them to a new location - hence the 2nd
40 gig drive).

The old drive had the partition designated as "RAW", which means it had not
been formatted. Of course, it had been formatted, and used, for about 2
years prior to the drive loosing it's mind.

After recovering the files, I created a new partition on the old drive and
have been using it, without incident, to this day!
