sound issues

Hi,

I seem to have come accross a problem that I encounter
when ever i setup a machine with windows XP i always have
the same problem when setting up the sound and it's
normally the on board sound cards that give me the
problem no matter what type of computer it is.

Is there something I should be doing?

Hello

Just make sure you have it enabled in the Bios if your going to
use the onboard sound and make sure that you have the latest
drivers for it, should come with your mother brd on the cdrom
or you can always get them from the maker of that brd's website
