On both my networked PC's, both running XP Home sp1, I have the similar
problems.
1. Both have a CD-DVD and CD-RW on the same IDE cable, but the names of each
unit have changed to CD-ROM.
2. On one PC the CD-RW has no Recorder page in Properties but works
perfectly burning audio CD's from Media Player 9
3. On both PC's the built in Copy to CD function does not work but Nero InCd
ver 4 works perfectly.
I have tried all the fixes from Kelly's Korner and various Microsoft KB
articles to no effect. I have even done a repair install on one of the PC's.
Other than this both PC's are working fine.
Can anyone assist.
