Late last week I did the latest update install. After
that install my computer went into speed meltdown. If I
shut it down it can take hours to restart. Ran norton
virus nothing shows up. Tried reinstalling xp no change
probably even slower. EVEN BIGGER PROBLEM. I have saved
all my customers e-mail communications in the Outlook
Express folders and can't figure out how to save or move
them to my external zip before I lost them.

You can save the email files by using the following free utility from MVP
Steve Cochran. It will allow you to extract all emails from any OE folder to
the location of your choice.
Download DBXtract.

I had a corrupted DBX file a while back. That little DBXtract tool saved the
email stored inside. Very nice tool to have in your computer's first aid
bag.
