computer locks up

Can anyone help me regarding my computer freezing?

I always leave my computer on and some morning when I go
to get on the Internet the computer is just locked up.
Today I was online and it just locked up also. How can I
fix this?

1. Check for overheating.
2. Check for bad drivers. See Device Manager
3. Check Event Viewer in System log for known errors.
4. Run DxDiag for any problems
5. Take PC to bits and check for loose cables etc.
